Ethiopia: Fuel truck ambushed in northern Gondar


ESAT News (June 12, 2017)
A fuel truck traveling from Sudan to Metema, northern Ethiopia came under attack on Monday 2 kms outside Addis Zemen, according to sources.
The driver of the fuel truck was taken to Bahir Dar Hospital, the sources added.

Patriotic Ginbot 7 took responsibility for the attack.
There have been reports of several attacks against regime targets and businesses in northern Ethiopian over recent months.
Last month two fuel trucks heading to Gondar from Sudan came under attack in Chilga, north Gondar. The two trucks were completely burnt and the drivers injured, according to ESAT’s sources. PG7 took responsibility for that attack as well.
